Working and creating as an ensemble is the foundation for all long form improvisation. A perfect class for beginners and experienced improvisers to develop skills for group mind and honing skills on actively listening and responding and organically building characters.

How to improvise a complete show from start to finish. We borrow from well known improv formats to discuss how to start, expand upon, heighten, make connections, and ultimately end an improv show in a way that can satisfy both improvisers and audience members.

Advanced Study: Long-form Narrative Improv - adv-lfn - $399    (16 Spots - Prerequisite: 501)

A narrative comedy lab for experienced improvisers. The focus is deep ensemble trust, shared story vocabulary, and ruthless commitment to the bit, creating a distinct narrative flavor. You’ll treat story as a full-ensemble conspiracy, letting characters’ wants and emotional reactions drive the narrative while the group moves like one brain to remember, justify, and heighten what the show discovers.

Learn how to play game better in scenes. A game is the comedic idea at the center of a scene. You'll get confidence in your moves, learn to craft comedy with your teammates, and build comedic scenes together. Connected Improv - adv5 - $425    (14 Spots - Prerequisite: imp501)

Improv is the most successful when the players seem to be reading one another's minds. This isn't a metaphysical connection. It's good listening. In this class you will dive deeper into listening, agreement, and connection. It's still comedy, but we'll reaching for another level where you can capture an audiences attention, and leave them with something memorable. We will move slower, we will play more honestly, but we'll find more truthful comedy in it.

Sketch Classes

Sketch Writing - ske101 - $389    (16 Spots - Prerequisite: None)

The Endgames Improv Sketch Writing 101 is the perfect place to get an introduction to sketch writing, and a great place for those who already know something about the form to practice their skills. This course will not only help you flesh out and punch up your sketch ideas, but also push you to learn different styles. In seven weeks, we'll cover political sketches, blackouts, commercial parody, and techniques for writing for shows such as Saturday Night Live. By the final class and table read graduation show, you will have a solid beginning for a professional comedy writing portfolio.

  • Students taking a multi-week class receive free admission to all Endgames Improv shows that do not sell out
  • There is a 5 out of 7 class attendance requirement (missing 30 minutes of a class counts as an absence)
  • There is a $65 to $135 fee for the process of allowable refunds and adjustments
  • Sales are non-refundable 24 hours after the first class begins
  • All 7-week classes have a graduation show! This is scheduled after the class starts. Due to complexity, shows cannot be moved to accommodate individual schedules.
