Improv Classes

Group Dynamics - imp101 - $389    (16 Spots - Prerequisite: None)

Working and creating as an ensemble is the foundation for all long form improvisation. A perfect class for beginners and experienced improvisers to develop skills for group mind and honing skills on actively listening and responding and organically building characters.

How to improvise a complete show from start to finish. We borrow from well known improv formats to discuss how to start, expand upon, heighten, make connections, and ultimately end an improv show in a way that can satisfy both improvisers and audience members.

Monoscene - ADV8 - $419    (14 Spots - Prerequisite: imp501)

This class focuses on learning the Monoscene as a performance style. Emphasis will be on executing a single location scene with a strong resolution, sharing focus between multiple performers, changing dynamics with entrances and exits, and weaving multiple games into a single piece. When done successfully, the location aides in heightening the comedy, becoming an extra character for the show.

Sketch Classes

Sketch Writing - ske101 - $369    (16 Spots - Prerequisite: None)

The Endgames Improv Sketch Writing Workshop is the perfect place to get an introduction to sketch writing, and a great place for those who already know something about the form to practice their skills. This course will not only help you flesh out and punch up your sketch ideas, but also push you to learn different styles. In seven weeks, we'll cover political sketches, blackouts, commercial parody, and techniques for writing for shows such as Saturday Night Live. By the final class, you will have a solid beginning for a professional comedy writing portfolio.

  • There is a 5 out of 7 class attendance requirement
  • There is a $60 to $120 fee for the process of allowable refunds and adjustments
