Improv Classes

Group Dynamics - imp101 - $389 (16 Spots - Prerequisite: None)

Working and creating as an ensemble is the foundation for all long form improvisation. A perfect class for beginners and experienced improvisers to develop skills for group mind and honing skills on actively listening and responding and organically building characters.

Character - imp201 - $389 (16 Spots - Prerequisite: imp101)

In seven weeks, this class will explore many different ways to approach character with a focus on becoming more aware of your choices. Learn how taking care of yourself can not only free you up to play but can be the best thing you do for your scene partner.

Scene Work - imp301 - $389 (16 Spots - Prerequisite: imp201)

This course examines the core of all improv comedy shows - The Two Person Scene. In this scene work class, players will be challenged to become aware of scene dynamics, form relationships and make strong, simple choices to guide your characters.

Advanced Scene Work - imp401 - $389 (16 Spots - Prerequisite: imp301)

This course continues in the exploration of scenework, discussing longer scenes, scenes with more than two people, and pushing further into the depths of commitment, listening, and heightening. Find and explore game in your scenes and gain confidence in improv.

Shows Beginning to End - imp501 - $395 (14 Spots - Prerequisite: imp401)

How to improvise a complete show from start to finish. We borrow from well known improv formats to discuss how to start, expand upon, heighten, make connections, and ultimately end an improv show in a way that can satisfy both improvisers and audience members.

Nothing Gets Wasted - adv7 - $395 (14 Spots - Prerequisite: imp501)

"Yes and" doesn't stop after a sweep edit. Learn to do more with less, and do better shows with it. This class focusses on playing whole shows. You'll learn how to build on what others bring with better side support, edits, callbacks, and exploration. We'll explore forms like the Slacker, La Ronde, and Pretty Flower. Great shows come from building on what came before.

Students taking a multi-week class receive free admission to all Endgames Improv shows that do not sell out
There is a 5 out of 7 class attendance requirement
There is a $60 to $120 fee for the process of allowable refunds and adjustments
Sales are non-refundable 24 hours after the first class begins
All 7-week classes have a graduation show! This is scheduled after the class starts. Due to complexity, shows cannot be moved to accommodate individual schedules.
Online instruction requires students to provide their own technology solution.
